About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Manager to lead our offshore wind projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the design, engineering, and execution phases of offshore wind projects. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the design and engineering phases of offshore wind projects, ensuring compliance with project plans and specifications.
• Manage and mentor a team of engineers, ensuring high performance and professional development.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the project team, ensuring all engineering activities meet industry standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure smooth project execution.
• Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure the highest standards of workmanship.
• Promote and enforce health and safety standards on-site, ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel.
• Monitor and control project budgets and schedules, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior management and project stakeholders.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering management within the offshore wind sector.
• Strong understanding of offshore wind technology, design processes, and industry standards.
• Proven track record of managing complex engineering projects, with excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to identify and resolve issues promptly and efficiently.
