Job Title: Head of Steel and Paint
Location: Poland
The Head of Steel and Paint is responsible for overseeing all operations related to steel fabrication and painting processes within the company. This role involves managing a team of professionals, ensuring high-quality standards, and optimizing production efficiency. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in steel fabrication, industrial painting, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage the steel fabrication and painting teams.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to improve production efficiency and quality.
• Provide training and development opportunities for team members.
• Oversee the entire steel fabrication process, from raw material procurement to final product.
• Ensure all painting processes meet industry standards and customer specifications.
• Monitor production schedules and adjust as necessary to meet deadlines.
• Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure high standards.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of steel and paint operations.
• Address any quality issues promptly and effectively.
• Ensure all operations comply with health and safety regulations.
• Promote a culture of safety within the team.
• Stay updated on industry regulations and standards.
• Manage the budget for the steel and paint departments.
• Optimize resource allocation to maximize efficiency.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement innovative solutions.
• Stay informed about the latest technologies and techniques in steel fabrication and painting.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in steel fabrication and industrial painting.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Strong knowledge of quality control and safety standards.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Desirable qualifications:
• Frosio/Nace/Iccor or equivalent
• CSWIP, IWI, IWE or equivalent
