Job Title: WTG Package Manager

Location: Remote with monthly visits to APAC region

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced WTG Package Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement, installation, and commissioning of wind turbine generators for our wind farm projects. This role requires strong project management skills, technical expertise, and the ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the entire lifecycle of the WTG package, from planning and procurement to installation and commissioning.
• Ensure that all technical specifications and standards are met, and provide technical guidance to the project team.
• Manage relationships with turbine suppliers, including contract negotiations, performance monitoring, and issue resolution.
• Monitor and control the budget and schedule for the WTG package, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure the highest standards of workmanship and compliance with industry regulations.
• Promote and enforce health and safety standards on-site, ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
• Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior management and project stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in wind turbine project management or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of wind turbine technology, installation processes, and industry standards.
• Proven track record of managing complex projects, with excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to identify and resolve issues promptly and efficiently.
• PMP or similar project management certification is desirable.
