About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Manager to oversee the procurement activities for our battery manufacturing projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the sourcing, negotiation, and procurement of materials, equipment, and services necessary for the construction and operation of battery manufacturing facilities. This role requires strong project management skills, a deep understanding of supply chain management, and the ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and services.
  • Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with suppliers, ensuring quality and reliability.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure the best terms and conditions.
  • Monitor and control procurement budgets, ensuring financial efficiency and adherence to project timelines.
  • Identify and mitigate procurement risks, ensuring continuity of supply.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to align procurement activities with project requirements.
  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on procurement status, financial performance, and project progress to senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement management, preferably in the battery manufacturing or related industry.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain management, procurement processes, and contract law.
  • Proven track record of managing complex procurement projects, with excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to identify and resolve issues promptly and efficiently.
