About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Manager to oversee the construction and operation of our client’s hydrogen plant project. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the project is completed safely, on time, and within budget. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all on-site activities, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety standards.
- Supervise and coordinate the work of contractors, subcontractors, and site personnel.
- Implement and enforce health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all site workers.
- Monitor construction activities to ensure high-quality standards are maintained throughout the project.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of all project phases.
- Monitor project costs and manage the site budget, ensuring financial efficiency.
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies to ensure smooth project execution.
- Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior management and project stakeholders.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them promptly.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in site management, preferably in the energy or hydrogen sector.
- Strong understanding of hydrogen plant construction and operation processes.
- Proven ability to lead and manage large teams effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Relevant certifications in project management or construction safety are desirable.
